Terms of Service

Welcome to Rectifi, a product of Echan Ventures, LLC ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, installing, or using the Rectifi mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

Rectifi is a mobile application that analyzes trading card centering. The App uses image processing and computer vision to detect card boundaries and calculate centering ratios (left-right and top-bottom). The App also provides tools for manual corner placement and border adjustment.

2. Accuracy Disclaimer

Centering analysis results provided by Rectifi are estimates only and are not guaranteed to be accurate. Results may vary based on image quality, lighting, card condition, and other factors. Rectifi's analysis does not replicate or replace the grading process of professional card grading companies (such as PSA, BGS, CGC, or SGC).

You acknowledge that:

• Centering ratios produced by the App are approximations and should be used for informational purposes only.
• The App's results may differ from those provided by professional grading services.
• You should not rely solely on the App's analysis when making purchasing, selling, or grading decisions.

3. Account and Authentication

Certain features of the App may require you to sign in using Apple Sign-In. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your account credentials secure.

4. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions ("Rectifi Pro") that unlock additional features such as unlimited scans, scan history, and cloud storage.

• Payment: Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment information.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price.
• Managing Subscriptions: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your device's Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
• Free Trials: If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Pricing: Subscription prices are set in the App Store and may vary by region. Price changes will be communicated in advance as required by Apple.
• Refunds: Refund requests must be directed to Apple in accordance with their refund policy.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
• Use the App's analysis results to misrepresent the centering or condition of a trading card in sales or trades.
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's services, servers, or networks.
• Upload or transmit malicious content through the App.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or other programmatic means to access or interact with the App.
• Share your account credentials or subscription access with other users.

Fair Use: We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to limit, throttle, or suspend access to the App for any account that we determine is engaging in excessive, abusive, or automated usage. If you believe your usage has been restricted in error, please contact us at support@getrectifi.com.

6. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Echan Ventures, LLC and is protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

You retain ownership of any images you provide to the App for analysis.

7. Third-Party Services

The App integrates with third-party services, including Firebase (by Google) for authentication, data storage, analytics, and configuration, and Apple StoreKit for subscription management. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Echan Ventures, LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the App.
• Any purchasing, selling, or grading decisions made based on the App's analysis.
• Any errors or inaccuracies in the centering analysis results.
• Any loss of data or unauthorized access to your account.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Echan Ventures, LLC, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.

11. Dispute Resolution

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall first be resolved through good faith negotiation. If the dispute cannot be resolved informally within 30 days, it shall be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration shall take place in the State of California.

You agree that any arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis and not as a class, consolidated, or representative action. If for any reason a claim proceeds in court rather than arbitration, you waive any right to a jury trial.

Exception: Either party may bring an individual action in small claims court for disputes within the court's jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Apple End User License Agreement

Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of the Standard Apple End User License Agreement (EULA). In the event of a conflict between these Terms and the Apple EULA, the Apple EULA shall take precedence with respect to your use of the App obtained through the Apple App Store.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
